Striving for continual support

DAD events offer connection and community through the shared enthusiasm for motoring. We create spaces where conversations about mental health are normalised and participants can discuss their experiences, connect with likeminded others, and find pathways to support.

Fundamental to our purpose is the recognition that the pathway to help can be different for everyone, and it can take more than one attempt to find the right fit. Mental wellness practitioners in attendance at our events offer practical advice for maintaining mental health, and break down barriers for discussion about accessing additional services when mental wellness is in decline.

While DAD events put us on the road to impactful mental health conversations, they aren’t the destination. Our intention is for participants to continue their conversations with a mental health professional in a personalised setting where the can access direct and ongoing support.

Funds raised for DAD help us build our panel of referral practitioners through the Mental Wellness Network, and with growth comes wider opportunities to provide access to services for our community.
