Date: Sunday 30th June 2019
Drive route: Starting at the historic Corio distillery (35 Lowe Street, Corio), ending with lunch at the Flying Brick Cider House (1251 – 1269 Bellarine Highway, Wallington)
Getting out for our regular community drives is so important to us. It’s where Drive Against Depression started and it’s still a fundamental way by which we provide opportunities for people to get together in a judgement free, non-confrontation environment and enjoy the pleasure of a Sunday drive.
We know these drives are important to you, so please go ahead and register to secure your place, and share with others who might be interested in a brilliant drive with a great bunch of people.
We’ve taken the hard work out for you and arranged a delicious two course menu for lunch. We wanted to make sure you were well looked after on a chilly winter day, and the menu certainly gives us a delicious warming lunch without the hassle of needing to individually order.
For this event we’re doing prepayment for meals, you can add your meal requirements when you register.
> Bellarine Beef Cheek (with caramelised cauliflower, pancetta, sprouts, bubble & squeak and horseradish cream)
> Roast Kaffie Lime Chicken (with charred broccolini, lemon marscapone, quinoa crumb and cavallo nero),
served in alternating style.
Additionally we’ll have wild rocket, pear, parmesan and balsamic salad, fries and house aioli and fresh breads to share.
Kiddos will have their own meal option available, plus dietary requirements are also looked after (just remember to add the details when registering).
Who’s This Drive For?
Everyone interested in enjoying their car (or motorcycle!), Victoria’s best roads and the company of like minded people.
We promote a non confrontational, judgement free environment to normalise conversations about mental health and offer the support of our community and a great day out.
This drive and lunch destination will be suited to families so feel free to bring the kiddies (young and older all welcome!). This event offers a valuable opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and some time together re-connecting through the drive without screens and other pressures. That’s what Drive Against Depression is all about…opportunities to reconnect with yourself and those who are important to you.
We’re aiming for this to be our biggest event yet and bust those winter blues, so please feel free to share the details with others who may be interested in joining a great drive, with a great lunch, for a great cause.
Updates in the lead up to the event will be posted in our Facebook event HERE. Please feel welcome to click “going” so you see the news, tag friends and share the event to invite others.
We appreciate your generous donation to support Drive Against Depression, and look forward to seeing you there!
