In our biggest event yet 85 participants in 55 cars joined the DAD winter charity drive on a day that threw the full spectrum of Melbourne weather at us. Our group braved Bellarine Peninsula winds and even a mild hail shower along the drive route to come together for our common cause – to raise awareness of anxiety and depression in Australia and create a space where conversations about mental health are normalised.
Starting at the most picturesque You Yangs Regional Park our drive criss crossed the beautiful Moorabool Valley, travelled via Freshwater Creek, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale to our lunch destination in Queenscliff.
DAD Ambassador Paul Maric came along with some very special cars and a few of the CarAdvice crew to share stories from their journalism experiences, talk cars and provide truly unique motoring experiences.
