If there's one thing we know, it's how important it is to keep connections strong. Connections to like-minded others, ourselves and our hobbies - they all matter and offer an important support for our mental health.

For our Autumn Drive Day, DAD is teaming up with the great folks at Berwick Ford to bring you our next engaging drive with great roads, great company and another opportunity to connect with mates.

DAD friend Paul Webb is looking after us on behalf of the Berwick Ford team and opening up the dealership for us to start our drive there. He's made sure the all-important coffee van will be on site to start the morning, and Mark the owner will be making a small donation to DAD for each cup sold.

Where We're Driving
The drive route will be released over the next couple of weeks, we are still refining the details in these changeable times. As a guide, we can tell you that for this drive we're heading north from Berwick Ford towards Mirboo North.

DAD Director and Drive Route Master David James is again putting together a stellar drive route that will see us pause for morning tea and chats, then finish with a group lunch. If you've joined our drives before you'll know that the drive route never lets us down (we're still basking in memories from the cracking Summer Drive Day) so we're confident it's going to be another day to remember.

Registration is essential to attend this event. We can then send you the drive route and important updates in advance of the day. It's also important for managing attendee numbers and our CovidSafe Event compliance.

Why Donations to DAD Matter
We truly appreciate each one of your donations. As a registered charity these enable us to deliver events we know our community deeply need and allow us to build our Mental Wellness Network. This is our panel of intentionally selected mental health practitioners who align with DAD's purpose, understand the needs of our community and offer a holistic approach to mental wellness.

Why This Event
The intention for this event continues with the DAD mission: to support mental wellness through the freedom of driving. We advocate for normalised conversations about mental health and we're proud to bring you this next event which allows us to catch up with mates, relax and reconnect with what bring us happiness.

See you there!
We're humbled to offer you another event which will know will serve our community in a way that matters to us most.
Please feel welcome to share this event with mates and make sure you register asap - places filled quickly for our Summer Drive Day and we know the demand is high again this time.

Covid Note
We understand the importance of keeping our community safe and managing risks to the best of our ability. DAD will have Covid-19 procedures in place and will ensure that this event meets the relevant restrictions and guidelines for the day. The CovidSafe Event Checklist will be submitted to the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions as required. Once acknowledged as acceptable the Checklist may be viewed here in due course.
